Venus in Fourth House

If Venus is in the 4th house, the native will be handsome, intelligent, will have happiness from brothers, will be happy and of forgivable nature. In his 30th year he will possess conveyances.  If the lord of the fourth house is strong the native will possess vehicles, jewellery and gold etc.

Jupiter in the 4th will be in kendra to ascendant. His disposition in Sagittarius, Pisces or Cancer will give rise to Hamsa yoga.

Jupiter in 4th House will either be the parents favorite or a spoiled only child. This placement is the most likely of all to retire in their 20’s or 30’s and lie on the beach in some tropical paradise. If you have this one, people jealous of  you. You really need a larger than normal home (or one with a great view) or you’ll feel claustrophobic. Later in life, you will tend to travel, study, or both.

One drawback here is that, if you are ever depressed, no one will believe you because your communications SOUND so cheerful. Speech flows freely, sometimes too freely. Learn not to tell people too much. If the rest of the horoscope doesn’t back up this placement, then there will be a tendency to talk big and not deliver.

Jupiter is supposed to be the planet of good luck and Saturn the planet of bad luck. So why are there so many poor people with Jupiter here and so many rich ones with Saturn in the second house? Remember, Jupiter is where we feel lucky and optimistic, and Saturn where we feel fearful and insecure. The Saturn folks are so afraid of poverty, they work like crazy to have enough. Even when they get it, they STILL feel poor. Enough is never enough for them. Those with Jupiter in the second house, however, tend to feel "lucky". Why not? Whenever they need money, it seems to fall in their laps, so why kill yourself working?

Jupiter is the greatest benefic amongst all the planets. The first house in the horoscope is the most ideal position for Jupiter. He gets directional strength in this house and casts benefic aspects on the 5th house (signifying children, intellect etc), the 7th house (signifying wife, marriage, married life etc.) and the 9th house (signifying religious mindedness, bhagya, prosperity, father etc). 

If Jupiter is in the first house in a horoscope, it indicates that the native is blessed with the grace of God. According to Jatak Desamarga, when Jupiter possessed of exceeding strength with clear bright rays, occupies the lagna, the child born should be declared to be free from all afflictions.

If Jupiter is in Sagittarius in the ascendant, he will be there as lord of the 4th and the ascendant. If Jupiter is in Pisces, he will be there as lord of the ascendant and the 10th house.
