Cyril Fagan Horoscope

Cyril Fagan (1896-1970) was one of the finest astrologers of the 20th century. A great astrological scholar, brilliant technician and extraordinary interpreter, Cyril Fagan left behind an important legacy for the astrological world.

In the 1940s, after studying the work of scholars who had translated the ancient Babylonian astronomical and astrological texts excavated from the Near and Middle East, Fagan realized that the Babylonians had used a sidereal zodiac—aligned to the stars—rather than a tropical zodiac—based on the seasons—later introduced by the Greeks. Fagan, a long time tropical astrologer, knew that this discovery would have profound implications for the modern day practice of astrology.

Often called "the father of western sidereal astrology," Fagan pioneered the use of the Babylonian sidereal zodiac—the original zodiac—in the West.

Cheiro the Palmist Horoscope

Cheiro's reputation stems from the fact that he not only had an unusual gift for the occult sciences, but also that he had a rather remarkable talent for befriending some of the most eminent people of the day.

The most renowned figure of this period was the Irishman William John Warner, who also went by the name of Count Louis Hamon and is best known as 'Cheiro' (1866-1936).

The title and tone of his autobiography, 'Confessions - Memoirs of a Modern Seer' suggests that he very much saw himself as a gifted psychic and intuitive and he most certainly liked to present himself in that way.   He was involved with the Rosicrucians and had close connections with various spiritualist groups and psychic mediums, and, at various times, Cheiro also worked as a journalist, ran a champagne business, owned two French newspapers, ran a chemical factory in Ireland and later was to become a scriptwriter in California for Hollywood films. It has also been suggested that he was also a secret agent for the British Government.

Frank William Abagnale Jr. Horoscope

Born on April 27, 1948 in Bronxville, New York , as the son of a stationery business owner, Frank William Abagnale entered the world of crime as a youngster with credit card and check schemes.

At the age of 16, Abagnale posed as a pilot for Pan Am Airlines in order to wangle free flights. He later pretended to be a doctor, before masquerading as an attorney -- just some of the eight different identities Abagnale claims to have assumed. Throughout this time he became a master forger of cheques, defrauding banks of millions of pounds. He was arrested at the age of 21 in France and spent six months in prison there, six months in a Swedish jail and was then deported to the US (not before he'd escaped from the aeroplane intended to transport him). After serving five years of his 12-year sentence, he was paroled on the condition that he helped the FBI uncover cheque forgers. He has since made a career as a security consultant, working closely with the FBI for almost 40 years, and launching his own company Abagnale & Associates.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Horoscope

Lal Bahadur Shastri was the second Prime Minister of independent India.

He was the General Secretary of the Congress Party when the first general elections were held after India became Republic. Congress Party returned to power with a huge majority.

In 1952, Jawahar Lal Nehru appointed Lal Bahadur Shastri as the Railways and Transport Minister in the Central Cabinet. Lal Bahadur Shastri's contribution in providing more facilities to travelers in third class compartments cannot be forgotten. He reduced the vast disparity between the first class and third class in the Railways. Lal Bahadur Shastri resigned from Railways in 1956, owning moral responsibility for a railway accident that killed 150 people.
.

After the death of Jawaharlal Nehru in 1964, Lal Bahadur Shastri was unanimously elected as the Prime Minister of India. It was a difficult time and the country was facing huge challenges. There was food shortage in the country and on the security front Pakistan was creating problems. In 1965, Pakistan tried to take advantage of India's vulnerability and attacked India. Mild-mannered Lal Bahadur Shastri rose to the occasion and led the country ably. To enthuse soldiers and farmers he coined the slogan of "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan". Pakistan lost the war and Shastriji's leadership was praised all over the world.

In January 1966, to broker peace between India and Pakistan, Russia mediated a meeting between Lal Bahadur Shastri and Ayub Khan in Tashkent, Russia. India and Pakistan signed the joint declaration under Russian mediation. Under the treaty India agreed to return to Pakistan all the territories occupied by it during the war. The joint declaration was signed on January 10, 1966 and Lal Bahadur Shastri died of heart attack on the same night.
