Yandamuri Veerendranath (born 14 November 1948) is a renowned Telugu novelist, screenwriter, motivational speaker, and chartered accountant. He revolutionized Telugu literature with socially relevant thrillers, comedies, sci-fi, and self-help books, influencing generations through his writings on poverty, superstition, and responsibility. Many novels were adapted into films.
Childhood and Family
Born in Rajolu village, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, to Chakrapani (an Income Tax employee) and Narasamma. He grew up in a modest Telugu family, showing early interest in writing. Married to Anugeetha; has a son, Praneeth Veerendranath.
I happened to have telephonic conversation with him in 2011, he confirmed his time of birth and Ascendant as Sagittarius with Jupiter in Lagna - Hamsa Yoga.
