Lawrence R. Spencer (also known as Larry Rodney Spencer)
He was the editor and publisher of the controversial 2008 book Alien Interview, which presents transcripts and notes allegedly from Matilda O’Donnell MacElroy, a former U.S. Army Air Force nurse, describing telepathic interviews with an extraterrestrial being recovered after the 1947 Roswell crash.
In 2017, I contacted Lawrence R. Spencer via Yahoo Mail regarding the authenticity of Alien Interview.
He replied that the material is 100% true.
During our conversation (Yahoo Messenger chat), he shared his exact birth details with time — the same data shown in the chart above (12 August 1946, 14:14, Albion, Michigan).
I promised him at that time that I would publish his horoscope only after his death.
Unfortunately, Yahoo permanently shut down Yahoo Messenger and all official chat services. As a result, there is no remaining proof of those emails or the chat conversation.
I am now fulfilling that promise after his passing in January 2022.
Early Life & Career Path
- 1946: Born in Albion, Michigan.
- Grew up in Northern California.
- Lived for many years in Florida and California.
- Worked in a wide variety of jobs before becoming a full-time author: forest firefighter, hospital janitor, retail shop manager (Waikiki), salesperson, semi-truck owner/operator, computer software developer, corporate executive in finance and advertising, and long-time consultant to chiropractors and small business owners.
- Raised four children (from his first marriage to Karen Spencer) and had four grandchildren.
- Later married Brenda Gayle Spencer (25 years together).
- Passionate oil painter, tennis player, researcher, and writer.
- In his final years he was a full-time caregiver to his mother.
Author Career
He wrote and published around 8–10 books exploring physical and spiritual universes, history, mythology, immortality, logic, and science fiction. Titles include The Oz Factors, Vermeer: Portraits of a Lifetime, Sherlock Holmes: My Life, and 1001 Things To Do While You’re Dead.
2008: Published Alien Interview (first edition). He presented himself strictly as the editor who received letters, notes, and Top Secret transcripts from Matilda O’Donnell MacElroy shortly before her death. The book went viral and has been translated into many languages.
2018: Moved to the retirement community of Sun City, Texas (Georgetown area).
19 January 2022: Passed away at age 75. His ashes were scattered at sea according to his wishes. He is survived by his wife Brenda and his children/grandchildren from his earlier marriage. (Ketu dasha - Ketu bhukti)
