Punarvasu Nakshatra

Punarvasu (ruler is Jupiter) is derived from Puna+Vasu means " Return, Renewal, Restoration (or) Repetition, Good Again, Wealthy Again". This is 7th nakshatra of Zodiac spanning from 20° in Gemini to 3°20' in Cancer.

Shape: Two bright Stars in the form of 'Quiver of Arrows (or) Bow' called Castor ( α-Geminorium ) and Pollux ( ß-Geminorium ).

Diety: Aditi (Mother Goddess)

Body-parts: Fingers and Nose.

Gotra (Celestial lineage): sage Kratu (the Inspirer)
